The family lives at the Chas. W. Campbell ranch 11 miles south of the city. With his brother and sister Dale and Evelyn, he was crossing the wagon bridge near the home when he fell into the stream, which is high and swift at this time. Help was summoned immediately, neighbors and the Big Timber fire department going to the rescue, but the body rose to the surface only once before lodging in some rocks less than a mile below the bridge. When recovered Dr. L. W. Baskett and others worked over the body for an hour. There were bruises on his head where he had been beaten against the rock. The child was born Dec. 30, 1938. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Evangelical church by Rev. H. S. tool pastor. Lowry's had charge of arrangements. Music was by Isabelle Huyser, Grace Bieber, Leon Westervelt, and Robert Ryan, with Elda Neumann at the piano. They sang Sweet Bye and Bye, Jewels, and Safe In the Arms of Jesus. Pallbearers were Gaylord Henry, Sidney Huyser, John Sago Jr., and Raymond Bieber. The church was filled with sympathizing friends. Interment was in Mountain View. Survivors are the parents, the sister and brother named, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Robinson. Contributor: Julia Kinsey (48922386) •
