Description	:	Grace Kock, 96, died Thursday morning, May 20, 2010 at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. Grace Angeline Oltmanns was born on on a farm east of Lennox, SD on May 18, 1914, the daughter of Luberto and Bertha (Buus) Oltmanns. She attended rural school and grew up there. On February 27, 1936 she was married to Fred G. Kock at LaValley Manse east of Lennox. Following their marriage they farmed east of Lennox until 1972 when they retired and moved into Lennox. Grace Angeline Oltmanns was born on on a farm east of Lennox, SD on May 18, 1914, the daughter of Luberto and Bertha (Buus) Oltmanns. She attended rural school and grew up there. On February 27, 1936 she was married to Fred G. Kock at LaValley Manse east of Lennox. Following their marriage they farmed east of Lennox until 1972 when they retired and moved into Lennox. Her husband died on February 16, 2000. Grace had been very active in her church, first at LaValley Presbyterian Church and then after she transferred to Faith Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She also had been a church organist for many years. She was a charter member of the Lennox Senior Citizens and the L.E.E. board. She also had been recognized with the R.S.V.P. program. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harm Oltmanns; her sister, Louise Day and one granddaughter, Joan Kock, on July 7,1970. Grateful for having shared her life are her four children and their spouses: Wendell and Merline Kock of Lennox, Berdine and Wayne Kock of Lennox, Loretta and Jim Pelach of Northfield, MN and Merlin and Gloria Kock of Chancellor: eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
