Sunday morning when Mrs. Elmer Brown died at her home near Aurora after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home, with Rev. James B. Brown, pastor of the Federated church, in charge. Mrs. Fred Stevens sang, accompanied by Miss Effie Swanson. Pall bearers were T.M. Scott, L.G. Bald, J.G. Huffman, Sam Chapman, L.H. Barker and D.M. Grace Dille was born April 20, 1873 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and passed away on Sunday, December 7, 1930 at about 1:30 a.m. at her home near Aurora, Nebr., after a brief illness. She moved at an early age to Greensburg, Indiana, but later returned to Cincinnati for her high school education, remaining there three years. She then went back to Greensburg and lived there until she came to Nebraska. She was married October 17, 1900 to Elmer Brown the marriage taking place in Omaha, Nebraska. Three children were born, two of who are still living, Mabelle and Arthur Dille, both of Aurora. George Wilbur died at the age of 7 months. Mrs. Brown became a member of the Christian church in Greensburg, Ind., and when Rev. Ervin Inglis was pastor at Aurora she united with the Congregational church, where she kept her membership until she died. She lived 57 years, 7 months, and 17 days.
