Description	:	Grace Elizabeth Ford was born September 12, 1897, the daughter of Rev. Truman and Harriet Frances James Ford, in Exeter Township, Clay County, Kansas, the oldest of nine children. During her early years, being the daughter of a minister, Grace lived with her parents on different pastorates in Kansas. Grace and three of her sisters were among the first students of Miltonvale Wesleyan College. She was baptized an an early age by the Rev. L. S. Cooper. Read More	Grace Elizabeth Ford was born September 12, 1897, the daughter of Rev. Truman and Harriet Frances James Ford, in Exeter Township, Clay County, Kansas, the oldest of nine children. During her early years, being the daughter of a minister, Grace lived with her parents on different pastorates in Kansas. Grace and three of her sisters were among the first students of Miltonvale Wesleyan College. She was baptized an an early age by the Rev. L. S. Cooper. Later she joined the Bethany Chapel Wesleyan Church, during the pastorate of her father the Rev. Truman Ford. Being the oldest child she was always willing to help her parents, relatives and friends where there was a need. On November 14, 1917 she was united in marriage to Ezra Woellhof. Six children were born to this union: Gwain, Melvin, Phyllis, Truman and Eldon. One son, Richard, died in infancy. Grace and Ezra had the privilege of celebrating their 65th Anniversary on Nov. 14, 1982. Grace was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her delight was in caring for her home and ministering to her loved ones. She always looked forward to the reunions of her family. Grace and Ezra were able to attend all thirty four reunions. of the James family. She enjoyed her membership of the "Helping Hand Club" of her local community. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Richard, and one sister, Mae Roberson. She is survived by her husband Ezra and five children: Gwain and wife Leona Ruth of Oakhill, KS; Melvin and wife Dorothy of Clay Center; Phyllis Hartner and husband Roy of Louisville, Colo; Truman and wife Leona Faye of Oakhill and Eldon and wife Carolyn of Abilene, KS; Eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also the following brothers and sisters; Faith Perry of Salem, Oregon; Ruth Pease of Napa, Calif.; Eva Bentfeld of Heber Springs, Ark; Richard Ford and wife Redora of Minneapolis, KS; Harold Ford and wife Mildred of Salina, KS; Frances Miller and husband William, Della Child and husband Cecil both of Concordia, KS. A brother-in-law, Loren Roberson, besides nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.
