Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Home for Funerals. She died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Edgewood Vista. She moved with her family to California and graduated from Pomona High School in Pomona. She returned to Nebraska and married Alfred Sommerfeld on Oct. 12, 1941, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She worked at Servall Towel and Linen Supply for 25 years and also for the Lutheran Community Hospital for 12 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed. Grace is survived by one daughter, Jan, and her husband, Joseph Griel; one grandson, Jason Griel; one granddaughter, Lisa, and her husband, Bryan Sterns; and one great-granddaughter, Ashley Sterns. All are of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her husband in January 2009, three brothers and two sisters.
