Grace so... Read More	Grace McKenzie Peters, 96, of Rixeyville, Virginia, widow of C. Edwin Peters, passed away in the Culpeper Regional Hospital, Saturday, March 17, 2007. Grace was born in Schuyler, Nebraska to the late Merdick D.McKenzie and the late Mary Becker McKenzie, June 18, 1910; was a graduate of Schuyler High School and Clarkson Memorial Hospital as a nurse in Omaha, Nebraska; was a member of the Jeffersonton United Methodist Church; was a member of the Home Makers of Jeffersonton; was a member of the Salem Garden Club; was a past member of the Culpeper Garden Club and the Culpeper Art Group. Grace so loved the countryside and her life on the farm. She was a gracious woman, a friend to all and a dear neighbor. Surviving Mrs. Peters are her grandchildren, Mike A. White, Janell Gordon, Robin White and Jake White; a niece Doris Vargo and her husband Jim; a great nephew Steve Vargo and his wife Adrianna and very special friends Jim and Sally Mello. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, Virginia with Rev. Lynn Wilbur conducting the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Humane Society of Culpeper, P.O. Box 1224, Culpeper, Virginia 22701. These arrangements have been entrusted to the Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701.
