She was born on October 15, 1892, near Filley, and had lived in Gage County all of her life. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, a member of the Golden Age Group of the church, and a charter member of the East Golden Rod Club. She was born on October 15, 1892, near Filley, and had lived in Gage County all of her life. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, a member of the Golden Age Group of the church, and a charter member of the East Golden Rod Club. Survivors include her four daughters, Mrs. Ida Darnauer of Beatrice, Mrs. Elmer (Freda) Green, Wheatridge, Colo., Mrs. Lester (Ruby) Albert, Clatonia, and Mrs. Edward L. (Edith) Tapee, Colorado Springs; one brother, Henry Schuster, Filley; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Saathoff, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R., in 1960, her parents, six brothers, one sister, and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Alton W. Schwandt and the Rev. Fred K. Kumpf officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Home Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the services. A memorial has been established to the All Faiths Chapel at the Beatrice State Home and the Martin Luther Home with Raymond Spilker and Ed Damrow in charge.
