Sterling, son of the late George B. and Emma McCready Sterling of this city, died in the Physicians & Surgeons Hospital in Glendale, California, on Tuesday of last week Mr. Sterling had been residing in California for sometime past, and had been a hospital patient only a short time when the end came. The body was brought to Crisfield, and funeral services were held from Mariners Church on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Robert H. Wilson officiating. Interment was in the Sunnyridge Memorial Park cemetery. The pall-bearers were A. Wellington Tawes, John L. Nelson, Walter McCready, Lora Johnson, Charles T. Laird and Dick Lawson. Mr. Sterling was an accountant by profession, and was employed by the U.S. Government. He left Crisfield quite a number of years ago. He was 69 years of age. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susan Sterling and two daughters, Mrs. Susan Merriam of Minneapolis, and Miss Mary Sterling, of Washington D.C.; three brothers, Messrs. Benjamin F.
