Mrs. Martin, a native of Norway Township in Wright County, had lived in Des Moines 41 years. She was a graduate of the Iowa School for the Deaf. She was self-employed, selling greeting cards. She is survived by her husband, Frank; two brothers: Lismore Stole of Kanawha and Jay of Garner, and four sisters, Mrs. Alma Engh of Kanawha; Mrs. Marie Nibe of Story City; Mrs. Anna Mae Larson of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Leona Harriman of Birmingham, Ala. There will be two services, one at 7:30 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines, the other at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church of Kanawha.
