Interment will be in Wilhite Cemetery. Mrs. Wilhite was the former Hannah Amelia Wilhelm. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Wilhelm. She was born December 20, 1860 in Wadsworth, Ohio. She came to Lyon county when she was 8 years old. She married E.W. Wilhite February 1879 in Emporia. Mr. Wilhite died September 24, 1901. Mrs. Wilhite was a member of Methodist Episcopal church. She is survived by three sons, Louis Wilhie, Fred Wilhite and Roy Wilhite who live near Emporia; four sisters, Mrs. Ella Unzicker, Neppel, Wash.; Mrs. Edward Gunkel, Neosho Rapids; Mrs. Clara Schoeck, Rt. 5, Emporia; and Mrs. Will Wrightman, Emporia and brother D.D. Wilhelm, Alvin, Texas. Two daughters preceded Mrs. Wilhite in death, Florance Wilhite who died September 22, 1901 and Mrs. Nellie Smith who died July 4, 1924.
