Description	:	Hannah Amerie WRIGHT is the daughter of George WRIGHT and Elizabeth HOLDER. Hannah WRIGHT, age 19, married Shuble YORK, age 28, on 30 July 1871 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Apparently in their 30 years of marriage they did not have any known children. Shuble was a Black Smith in 1860 as a teenager. By 1870 he was a most successful four miller on Sandy Creek near the Post Office. Perhaps Shuble meet his future wive at the mill? Hannah WRIGHT, age 19, married Shuble YORK, age 28, on 30 July 1871 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Apparently in their 30 years of marriage they did not have any known children. Shuble was a Black Smith in 1860 as a teenager. By 1870 he was a most successful four miller on Sandy Creek near the Post Office. Perhaps Shuble meet his future wive at the mill? Hannah's father, George Wright, was also a miller possibly at the same flour mill. By 1880 Shuble and Hannah were living in Greensboro, Guilford County. Shuble was a shoe maker running a great Enterprise that afforded them a servant. Hannah WRIGHT's mother was Elizabeth HOLDER. Hannah's uncle George Washington HOLDER (1814 -1863) and his wife Hetty UNDERWOOD (1813 -1890) are buried next to Shuble YORK. One can only guess that her aunt Hetty UNDERWOOD was devastated with the death of her husband in 1863 sacrificing his life in a CSA Civil War battle. As a Civil War Widow with four very young children no doubt she needed Hannah's friendship, assistance and help. There is no tombstone in Row 18, Plot 6 next to her husband to honor Hannah Amerie WRIGHT as of 1996. The late Francine Holt Swaim recorded the tombstones in this cemetery in 1996 for the Randolph County Genealogical Society Cemetery Book, Volume IV.
