Description	:	Mrs. Hannah Amelia (Aurilla) Geesman was born at Fort Wayne, Ind., on February 19, 1849. In the year of 1865 she moved with her parents to Iowa and three years later was married to Mr. J. D. Dickinson at Tipton, Iowa on June 22. To this happy union were born eight children during the succeeding years, three sons and five daughters. The oldest son, Sheldon Dickinson, passed to his rest in 1910 at his home near Milton, Iowa. Read More	Mrs. Hannah Amelia (Aurilla) Geesman was born at Fort Wayne, Ind., on February 19, 1849. In the year of 1865 she moved with her parents to Iowa and three years later was married to Mr. J. D. Dickinson at Tipton, Iowa on June 22. To this happy union were born eight children during the succeeding years, three sons and five daughters. The oldest son, Sheldon Dickinson, passed to his rest in 1910 at his home near Milton, Iowa. The other two sons, James G. and John H. Dickinson live near Moorcroft, Wyoming. Of the daughters, Mrs. C. C. Gay resides at Arpan, S.D., Mrs. James Ridenour at Ellis, S. D., Mrs. O. E. Wilkinson lives at Twodot, Mont., Mrs. Minnie Jacobs and Mrs. F. L. Maros were with mother at the time of her last illness. She also leaves three sisters and a brother to mourn her loss and yet to rejoice in the Christian virtues she displayed. Thirteen grandchildren were known and loved by her and will be a comfort of Mr. Dickinson's declining years. Mrs. Dickinson was an affectionate and tender mother and the deep sense of loss felt by the husband and children is evidence of her noble character. Thirty years of her married life were spent upon the farm amid the hardships of a pioneer country in Cedar county, Iowa, where Mrs. Dickinson became a member of the S. Bethel Methodist church. Then for 17 years the home was made in Tipton, Iowa, prior to the move to Wyoming. Loving neighbors and friends here came forward to comfort and assist the bereaved family in every way.
