Description	:	"Mrs. Hannah Stoddard, whose maiden was Hannah Elizabeth Breed, was born May 30, 1871, on a farm near Missouri Valley, Iowa., and died at her home at Seward last Thursday morning after being confined to her bed because of illness the past six weeks. Following her marriage to Robert Craft, Sept. , 1899, the couple made their home at various points along the Chicago and Northwestern Railway, for whom Mr. Clark was employed, and finally located at Norfolk. Following her marriage to Robert Craft, Sept. , 1899, the couple made their home at various points along the Chicago and Northwestern Railway, for whom Mr. Clark was employed, and finally located at Norfolk. Mr. Craft died in December 1905, and two years later, she was married to John Friday, for many years mayor of Norfolk. Mrs. Friday took part in the civic affairs here, having served for a time as police matron of Norfolk and later as probation officer of Madison county. She was also a member of Beulah chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, a past oracle of the Royal Neighbors lodge, and a member of Trinity Episcopal church. Mr. Friday died seventeen years ago. Since her marriage to C G. Stoddard five years ago, she had resided at Steward. Beside Mr. Stoddard, she is survived by her son, Robert Craft of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Hight of Brighton, Colo.; three granddaughters, Mrs. Frank Cooper, Denver, Colo., and Roberta and Bernice Hight of Brighton, Colo.; a grandson, Robert Craft Jr., Norfolk, and one great grandson, Kent Cooper of Denver. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. W. C. Roland, Norfolk. Out-of-town relatives who were here Sunday to attend funeral services, held Sunday at Trinity Episcopal church, included Mrs. Hight of Denver, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Edwards of Grand Island; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Crotty of Storm Lake, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. Jim McCune of Missouri Valley, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. George Barr of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stoddard of Red Oak, Ia., andn Miss Jessie Stoddard, Aurora. Her husband, G. D.Stoddard, Mrs. Flo Garland, Mrs. Schultz, Mrs. Verganza, Mrs. Mongle, and Mrs. Haggemo--ze, all of Seward."
