Description	:	(1st article) Mrs. Louvina (sic) Breed died at her home at the Junction at an early hour this morning. Mrs. Bree was 60 years of age, wife of L. H. Breed, the proprietor of the Clifton hotel. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters to mourn her loss, Mrs. P. Roulard, Mrs. Pat Crotty, and Mrs. R. W. Craft. Lavina Fyetta Breed was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. P. Brookhouser and was born in Crofford county, Pa, in 1835. She removed with her parents to Dubuque county, Iowa, in 1855, and in 1868 was united in marriage to Jacob Sopher. Later she spent a short time in Jones county, Iowa, where she moved with the Fairview Baptist church, of which she remained a member until her death. In 1867, she removed with her three children to Pottawattamee county, and a year later was married to L. H. Breed. To this union one daughter was born. The last two years of her life, she has been a resident of this city. A husband and four daughters, Mrs. Mary M. McCune, Mrs. Curt Emmis, Mrs. Pat Crotty, Mrs. R. Croft, besides her stepdaughter, Mrs. W. C. Roland, are left to mourn the loss of wife and mother. Yet with the poet we may say. Children: Mary Sopher (1858-1939), Nina Sopher (1859), Carrie E Sopher (1860), Itaska Breed (1862), Jane Sopher (1864-1939), Lucie Jennie Soper (1865), Hannah Elizabeth Breed (1871-1940) Memorial managed by 8th cousin, five times removed.
