Bardsley, at the age of 52 years. Hannah K. Bardsley was born in Lancashire, England in the year 1842, at the age of 17 she came with her parents to America. The last 18 years of her life has been spent almost exclusively in orphan asylums and homes for destitute children. She was passionately fond of children, and was never so happy as when among them helping them to a better, brighter, happier life. She went to California four years ago, thinking that change of climate might benefit her health. She was making arrangements to come to Fullerton in the spring to be among her own people and to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Turner; besides whom, she leaves two sisters, Abram Turner, of Salem Ohio, and Mrs. John Cocker of Staleybridge, England. She was a member of the Episcopal church, and was a thoroughly good christian woman; of an extremely social disposition - always making friends wherever she went. The deceased died at San Francisco last week and her body was brought to this city for interment. The funeral services were held at the residence of John Hinshilwood on Monday afternoon, Rev. A. J. Montgomery conducting the services. Her sister, Mrs. Turner and daughter, Mrs. McChesney were not able to come down from Belgrade on account of the illness of Mrs. Turner. Her remains were laid to rest in the Fullerton cemetery.
