Description	:	Harm H. Ideus, 91, of Beatrice died at Homestead House in Beatrice on Monday morning, Aug. 6, 2012. He was born on Dec. 12, 1920 at rural Filley and attended Hunt Country School. On Sept. 15, 1946, he married Marie Lieneman at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell, and they lived and farmed southeast of Beatrice their entire lives. He moved into Beatrice in 2007. He... Read More	Harm H. Ideus, 91, of Beatrice died at Homestead House in Beatrice on Monday morning, Aug. 6, 2012. He was born on Dec. 12, 1920 at rural Filley and attended Hunt Country School. On Sept. 15, 1946, he married Marie Lieneman at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell, and they lived and farmed southeast of Beatrice their entire lives. He moved into Beatrice in 2007. He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church of rural Pickrell and was currently a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of rural Beatrice, where he had been a member of the Brotherhood of the Church. He enjoyed traveling on tours, playing cards, visiting with people, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and dancing. Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Parde and Valora Brandt and husband William "Bill," all of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Heather Rezac and husband Brian, Jarrod Parde and wife Andrea, Travis Brandt and wife Emmeline, Audra Hitz and husband Brian, and Nicholas Brandt and wife Christina; five great-grandchildren, Avery Brandt, Kara Rezac, Dalton Parde, Devin Parde and Hadley Hitz; one sister, Reka Trauernicht of Beatrice; nephew, Harvey Ideus of Dallas, Trxas; brothers-in-law, Alvin Dorn of Beatrice; Les and Barb Swanson of Lincoln, Lloyd and Carol Thompson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sister-in-law, Margaret Ideus of Beatrice; numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harm and Etta Zimmerman Ideus; his wife, Marie, who died on April 23, 2000; five brothers, Siebend, Menne, Jurgen, John and George Ideus; one sister, Sena Dorn; three infant brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Beatrice with Pastor Chuck Bentjen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 8 a.m. Thursday until 9 p.m. Friday, and then at the church one hour preceding the services on Saturday. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with John and Evalena Lenners in charge.
