Description	:	THOMAS, HAROLD ARTHUR — Harold Arthur Thomas was born May 19, 1924. He departed this life on October 13, 1981, having reached the age of 57 years, four months and 24 days. Harold was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Raymond Thomas of Geneva. He attended school in the Geneva area and has lived in Fairmont the past eight years. He passed away at the Fairview Manor in Fairmont on Tuesday evening. He was a favorite among both staff and residents, and loved to tease and joke with everyone. He will be greatly missed. He departed this life on October 13, 1981, having reached the age of 57 years, four months and 24 days. Harold was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Raymond Thomas of Geneva. He attended school in the Geneva area and has lived in Fairmont the past eight years. He passed away at the Fairview Manor in Fairmont on Tuesday evening. He was a favorite among both staff and residents, and loved to tease and joke with everyone. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles, and by his twin sister, Mae Dye. He is survived by his sisters, Mrs. Anna Miles of Ontario, Ore., Mrs. Gerald “Daisey” Contant of Caldwell, Idaho, Mrs. Hugo “Fern” Bracy of Rosehill, Ia., and Mrs. Russell “Edna” Snodgrass of Fairmont, and Mrs. Theodore “Dorothy” Petersen of Geneva, and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted from the Farmer and Son funeral home in Geneva on Saturday, October 17, 1981, with the Rev. Charles Schepel officiating. Musical selections were “How Great Thou Art” and “The Lord’s Prayer”. Those serving as pallbearers were Jack, James, Jerry, Jimmy and Jay Snodgrass; and Dick Petersen.
