Born in Hamilton on August 11, 1926, he was the youngest of seven children born to Howard and Bonnie (Thompson) Castator. Bill graduated from Hamilton High School in 1945. Read More	CASTATOR, Harold William "Bill", age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, April 1, 2005 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Hamilton on August 11, 1926, he was the youngest of seven children born to Howard and Bonnie (Thompson) Castator. Bill graduated from Hamilton High School in 1945. He served our country in the Army from 1945-1946 and later attended the University of Cincinnati. Bill worked for General Motors Fisher Body from 1947 until his retirement in 1980. Bill met his wife, Juanita Azbill in 1947 and they were married on December 17, 1949, recently celebrating their 55th anniversary. Bill is survived by his wife, Juanita; three children, Michelle Tuminello, Bill (Lisa) Castator, and Jeff (Linda) Castator; four grandsons, Joshua, Brandon, Shawn, and Blake; and numerous relatives and friends. Bill had a passion for sports and he passed that love onto his children and grandchildren. He played both baseball and softball for many years in Hamilton and was later inducted into the Butler County Softball Hall of Fame in 1987. In 1964, he began umpiring youth baseball and then managed teams in the West Side Little League, the Babe Ruth and Advanced Babe Ruth Leagues. He was highly respected by the many young men who played for him during those years. In his later years he thoroughly enjoyed watching many sports with his family. Bill was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; his five sisters, Irma Sawyer, Thelma Garrett, Charlotte Brune, Doris McGreevy, and Lorraine Morgan; his twin brother, Howard Castator; and his son-in-law, Robert Tuminello. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 5, 2005 at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Ave at South "D" Street with Rev. Alvin Miranda officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggest contributions be made in his memory to Haven House Emergency Shelter 321 Maple Avenue Hamilton, OH 45011 or the West Side Little League, 27 Elmont Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
