Read More	Harriet Moss September 30, 1925 - December 7, 2016 Harriet Moss, age 91, of Hull, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at the Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull. Harriet Janet was the youngest child of a family of eleven, born to John and Hendrika (Mag’re) Zoet, on September 30, 1925. She was born on the family farm seven miles north of Hull. She attended Garfield #7 school for her education, and after completing school, worked at home helping her parents. She also assisted her brothers’ and sisters’ families when they had babies. In May of 1946, she moved with her parents and sister into Hull. On April 23, 1947, she married Arthur James Moss in the First Reformed Church in Hull. She then became a member of the American Reformed Church. They started their married life on the Moss family farm, where she worked alongside Art in the farming operations. To this union, four children were born: Jacob, Helen, and twins, Arlan and Arlis. They were also blessed with a special daughter, Genell. They were active in the Hull community. Harriet taught catechism and Sunday School, served on the Mission and Evangelism Committee, and made coffee for 40 years for the fellowship time following the worship service. She was also active in the Reformed Church Women’s organizations, both at the church and the Classis levels, and in the Inspiration Hills, Rock Valley Christian Women’s, Hegg Memorial Hospital, Hope Haven, and Northwestern College auxiliaries. She loved her family very much and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s many activities, especially their football games. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and canning, and once the children were out of the house, she and Art traveled together. Art passed away on August 7, 1993. In 1995, Harriet moved to the Homestead Cooperative, and to the Aspen Heights Assisted Living in 2012. Those left to cherish her memory are her five children and their spouses, Jacob and Sharon Moss, of Burnside, Kentucky, and their children, Brian (Stephanie), Jon (Liz), Christy Storer, and Carmen (Jared) Storer; Helen and Don Brands, of Worthington, Minnesota, and their children, Dan (Chelly), Doug (Jen), and Melissa; Arlan and Ruth Moss, of Hull, and their children, Adam (Brandi), Craig (Hayley), and JoElyn (Dan) Ten Clay; Arlis and Paul Kraai, of Hull, and their children, David (Julie) and Pam (John) Hofmeyer; Genell and Duane Zevenbergen, of Sioux Center, and their children, Justin (Christine), Nick (Heidi), and Brandon (Tara); 32 great-grandchildren, with another blessing on the way; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Gertie Zoet, Christina and Walt Boogerd, Coba and Paul Vander Ploeg, Henry and Gertrude Zoet, Jake and Angeline Zoet, Bertha and Sam Attema, Johan Zoet, Andrew Zoet, Joe and Kathryn Zoet, and Gertrude and Simon Rodenburgh; her in-laws, Henry and Mina Moss, Theresa and Harold Post, and Esther and N.A. (Jim) Wilson; and a grandson-in-law, Brian Storer.
