Description	:	Harriet Hyson New Germany, March 19 - The death of Mrs. James Hyson which occurred at her home in Simpson's Corner on Monday, March 17, removed one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of that community. Although 82 years of age, Mrs. Hyson had lived alone and until a few years ago had been in charge of the post office, a position she filled faithfully for many years. Read More	Harriet Hyson New Germany, March 19 - The death of Mrs. James Hyson which occurred at her home in Simpson's Corner on Monday, March 17, removed one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of that community. Although 82 years of age, Mrs. Hyson had lived alone and until a few years ago had been in charge of the post office, a position she filled faithfully for many years. She was a great lover of flowers and maintained a beautiful fashioned garden. Her death, which came after only a few hours of illness, was a great shock to her many friends. Mrs. Hyson was formerly Harriet Simpson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson of Simpson's Corner. Her husband, James Hyson, formerly of Mahone Bay, predeceased her 22 years ago, and son Atwood several years ago. Surviving are seven sons, Stanley of Simpson's Corner, Dennis, Worcester, Mass., Laurie and Reginald, Simpson's Corner, Fred, Nictaux Falls, Clark, Worcester, Mass. and Lester of Simpson's Corner; one daughter, Damie, Mrs. Earl deMone also of Simpson's Corner. One sister, Mrs. Rhoda Tufts of Simpson's Corner, is the only surviving member of the large family. Funeral services were conducted in the Simpson's Corner Church, Friday morning by Rev. S. G.
