Description	:	Harriet was married to Henry Ardenis Utterback. Obituary: Mrs. Henry Utterback, Sigourney woman and a Keokuk county resident all her life, died Sunday afternoon after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the local Christian church in charge of the Rev. Leo Potter, pastor. Burial was in Pennington cemetery south of Sigourney. She was born October 18, 1860, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Jacobs, in Lancaster township. She attended school at Chastine, and on March 26, 1889, was married to Henry Utterback, the Rev. T.T. Thompson performing the service in Sigouney. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Utterback lived in Hayesville for 20 years until they moved to Sigourney in 1919, where they had since lived. She joined the Christian church in Lancaster, and after moving to Sigourney transferred her membership to the Christian church here. She was 83 years old. In June 1900 Mr. and Mrs. Utterback became the parents of a son, who died at birth. She was a lover of music and sang in the choir at all the churches which she attended, and was choir leader for a number of years. Besides her husband she leaves three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Martha Griffen, Mrs. Alice Jacobs and George Jacobs of Sigourney, Mrs. Frances Chase of Hayesville and Alva Jacobs of Cleveland, Missouri.
