No children; she was 5 years younger. Her mother was Alice Hatch, b. about 1860, and her father was John W. Brown, both born in IA. The 1900 census shows her born Feb. 1897 living with G. W. and Nella A. (Alice?) Brown at Cedar Rapids, Linn Co.,IA. 1920 shows her at age 13 living with John W. and Alice J. Brown, both married once, both 31 years together. There was an older son, Floyd R., age 26. She stated 2 children, both living. Illinois Death Index states Georgia died 28 Mar 1926 - Chicago, Cook, Illinois, Wife of Harris E. Stacy and daughter of J. W. Brown and Alice Hatch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He is widowed in 1930 and a lodger with George and Laura Sherman in Sioux Rapids. Occupation RFD carrier. ============================= By 1940 he has married Helen R. Tollakson and they have a daughter, Ramona B. (Brand is middle name), (later a Gidley- with whom I have chatted,) who is 4 years old and a servant, Grace Ness. He is a rural mail carrier.
