Description	:	Harry C. Murrell, youngest child of Edward C. and Eliza Keil Murrell, was born in Fairmont, Neb., December 26, 1895. He passed away at the Veteran's Hospital in Lincoln, Neb., July 13, 1966, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 15 days. He attended the public schools in Fairmont and lived his entire life in Fairmont with the exception of the year he was in military service in France. He was married to Gladys Peterson August 4, 1920. Murrell, youngest child of Edward C. and Eliza Keil Murrell, was born in Fairmont, Neb., December 26, 1895. He passed away at the Veteran's Hospital in Lincoln, Neb., July 13, 1966, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 15 days. He attended the public schools in Fairmont and lived his entire life in Fairmont with the exception of the year he was in military service in France. He was married to Gladys Peterson August 4, 1920. To this union two sons were born, Lester E. and Derald D. He worked 36 years for the Burlington railroad and was busy about the home since his retirement in April 1959. He was a charter member of Lt. Earl Forbes Post No. 21, American Legion of Fairmont. He loved athletic sports and played baseball with local teams for several years. "Pic" was always a favorite player with the baseball teams. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles, who passed away in infancy; and one granddaughter, Linda. Surviving him are his wife, Gladys and sons, Lester E. of Bridgeport, Neb., and Derald D. of Lincoln; three brothers, E.C. Murrell, George H. Murrell and John A Murrell, all of Fairmont; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Parker and Mrs. Ada Capes of Fairmont and Mrs. Rose Joy of Exeter; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Grace Methodist church Saturday, July 16, at 10 a.m., Rev. Paul W. Walker officiating. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery with military honors by Lt. Earl Forbes post American Legion. Mrs. Rex Plock sang "Sunrise" and "Lead Kindly Light." The organist was Mrs. Jerry Galusha. Pallbearers were John Bettger, Clinton Halsey, Alfred Jorgensen, Preston Ogden, LeRoy Plock and Frank Watson.
