Description	:	Harry "June" Porter Jr. 74, of Medley, died Monday, January 30, 1989 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. Born in Petersburg, April 2, 1914, he was the son of the late Harry W. Porter Sr. and Carrie (Hutton) Porter. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. An Army veteran of World War Ii, Mr. Porter owned and operated Porter's Store at Medley for 20 years. He was a member of Post 6454, Veterans of Foreign wars, Petersburg, Disabled American Veterans, south Branch Chapter 29 and Lahmansville United Methodist Church. Survibing are Margie Simmons of Medley; four sistgers, Mrs. Dorothy Coleman, and Mrs. Clara Mae Davis, both of Medley, Mrs. Libby Lahman and Mrs. Delores Secrist, both of Lahmansville; and one brother, Neil L. Porter, Largo, Florida. Services were conducted Wednesday morning in Lahmansville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stanley Kile.
