Description	:	BARNARD - Funeral services for Harry Kenneth Nyberg, 65, Barnard, will be held at 2pm, Saturday, May 7th, at the Miller-Hubel Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen. He died Tuesday, May 3rd., at St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen. The Rev. John Maines of the United Methodist Church of Groton will officiate. Marlys Cassels will be the organist and Roger Rix will be the soloist. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5pm Thursday until the time of the service. The casket will not be opened after the service. The family is requested to meet at the funeral home at 1:30pm on Saturday. Harry Kenneth Nyberg was born May 4th., 1917, in Alexandria, Minn., to Carl and Eldora (Erickson) Nyberg. He attended school in that area and farmed with his mother after his father's death. He entered the US Army-Air Force in 1943, and served in India. He was married to Martha M. Odenbach, in Jackson, Miss., Nov. 17th., 1944. After receiving an honorable discharge from the service he and his family moved to Tracy, Minn., and later to Dovray, Minn., where he was a welder and machinist, and owned and operated his own business. The family moved to Barnard in 1954 and Mr. Nyberg owned and operated his own shop, and later worked for the Barnard School System. He re-opened his shop in 1965 and later worked for Groton Truck Center. At the time of his death he was working for Northern Welding and Machine Company. Survivors include his widow; one son, Sherwin (Tyke), Groton, one daughter, Mrs. Victoria Bunke, Bristol; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Dorthy) Ziesmer, Denton, Mont., and Mrs. Tony (June) Sahli of Osakis, Minn., and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
