Description	:	Harvey Larsen Hansen was born March lO, 1913 in Sharon TownshIp of Audubon County near Kimbailton, Iowa, the son of Hans Larsen Hansen and Anna Katherine Hansen. He was baptized on April 27, 1913 at the Bethania Danish Lutheran Church northeast of Kimbailton by Rev. H. L. Jensen. The family moved to the Anita area in 1915, where he attended school. He was confirmed on April 1, 1928 at the Exira Lutheran Church by Rev. P. C. Jensen, and has been a member o! the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adair since 1929. He was confirmed on April 1, 1928 at the Exira Lutheran Church by Rev. P. C. Jensen, and has been a member o! the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adair since 1929. Harvey hauled cream to the Exira Creamery from 1936-1942, then entered service and served in the European Theatre for 3 ½ years. They have farmed north of Anita since his discharge in 1 945 for the past 40 years. He was married to Grace M. Mueller on March 3, 1946 by Rev. Theodore Hoemann at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers, Arnold, Emert, Sigo and Gordon; two sisters, Bernice and Velma Jean. He is survived by his wife, Grace; three sons, David and his wife, Nancy of Papillion, Nebraska, Dean and his wife, Kay of Anita, and Mark and his fiance, Chris Craver of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Sara and Michael of Papillion, Nebr., and Natalie and Nathan of Anita. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Jaeckel of Shenandoah and a brother, Arlo of Phoenix, Arizona, and a number of other relatives and friends.
