Description	:	Mrs. Harris Holland 1974 Bridgewater Bulletin Hattie Belle, 82, widow of the late Harris William Holland, passed away July 2nd, 1974, at the V.G. Hospital, where she had been a patient for a short period of time. Born in Meisner's Section, New Germany, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Milledge and Emma Acker. Mrs. Holland was a wonderful person, always very active and willing to help others. She made many friends wherever she went. Read More	Mrs. Harris Holland 1974 Bridgewater Bulletin Hattie Belle, 82, widow of the late Harris William Holland, passed away July 2nd, 1974, at the V.G. Hospital, where she had been a patient for a short period of time. Born in Meisner's Section, New Germany, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Milledge and Emma Acker. Mrs. Holland was a wonderful person, always very active and willing to help others. She made many friends wherever she went. The many floral tributes and memoriam gifts paid high tribute to the esteem in which she was held. Surviving to mourn the loss of a devoted mother are two sons and one daughter, Victor of Meisner's Section, with whom she resided the past year; Pearlie, New Germany; and Marjorie (Mrs. Crandell Acker) of Meisner's. There are also twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons and two grandsons. Funeral service was held on Friday, July 5, at 2 p.m. from St. John's Anglican Church, New Germany, with Rev. Jack Tattrie officiating. Organist was Mrs. George Zwicker with choir in attendance. Hymns sung were "Abide With Me" and "The Lord is My Shepherd." Interment was in the Anglican Cemetery, New Germany. Pall bearers were Clifton Sleep, Fred DeMone, Samuel MacDonald, Harold Robar, Darrell Chambers, and Gordon Deal. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
