Description	:	Hazel is the daughter of Alfred & Sarah Elizabeth (Jevons) Yarrow and was born on the farm near Wakefield, Kansas. She attended a one room rural grade school and graduated from Wakefield High School. On November 2-1934 Hazel marred Irvin H. Smith of Clay Center, Kansas. They made their home in Clay Center for a number of years and in 1950, they moved to Syracuse, NE, where Irvin was manger of the Eastern Nebraska Public Power District. In 1965 they moved to Omaha. Read More	Hazel is the daughter of Alfred & Sarah Elizabeth (Jevons) Yarrow and was born on the farm near Wakefield, Kansas. She attended a one room rural grade school and graduated from Wakefield High School. On November 2-1934 Hazel marred Irvin H. Smith of Clay Center, Kansas. They made their home in Clay Center for a number of years and in 1950, they moved to Syracuse, NE, where Irvin was manger of the Eastern Nebraska Public Power District. In 1965 they moved to Omaha. Hazel was an outgoing person, always had a positive outlook on life and lived life to the fullest. She was involved in church and community activities, serving among many other ways as a Sunday School teacher, church wedding coordinator, member of Church Women United and Girl Scout Leader and was a member of Eastern Star for 75 years. She enjoyed painting pictures, ceramic painting, and gardening, she was a master growing flowers.
