He was 65 years of age and was one of the pioneer settlers of that part of the county. Mr. Hilgenkamp was state senator from this district for six years and was one of the largest land owners in the county. The funeral was held Saturday. #3 Printed in the March 2, 1911 Blair Democrat, Blair, Nebraska Henry H. Hilgenkamp, a pioneer farmer and one of the largest land owners in Washington county, living north of Arlington, died last Friday (sic) after suffering many months with cancer of the stomach.
