Description	:	HENRY GRAMANN SR. Henry Gramann Sr. Born in Arnum near Hanover , Germany July 19, 1884. Son of Heinrich and Christine Gramann and passed away March 14, 1969 at Lincoln, Nebr. In his youth, as a young man he attended and graduated from schools in Hanover. After his schooling he entered the investment banking buisness in his home city. Having previously made the acquaintance of Marie Hennies while she was on a visit with her family to relatives in Germany, he came to the United States and married her on November 7, 1912.... Read More	HENRY GRAMANN SR. Henry Gramann Sr. Born in Arnum near Hanover , Germany July 19, 1884. Son of Heinrich and Christine Gramann and passed away March 14, 1969 at Lincoln, Nebr. In his youth, as a young man he attended and graduated from schools in Hanover. After his schooling he entered the investment banking buisness in his home city. Having previously made the acquaintance of Marie Hennies while she was on a visit with her family to relatives in Germany, he came to the United States and married her on November 7, 1912. Following the marriage , he and his wife returned to Germany to continue his buisness there. In a few months , however thay returned to the United States and he secured employment with a bank in Adams, In 1918, he alomg with his father-in-law and brother-in-law organized the third bank in Adams, with which institution he was associated until his death. He is survived by his son , Henry Jr. of Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Owen (Mary ) VanGreuningen of Lincoln, and Mrs. Lester (Rosie) VanGreningen, Adams. six grandchildren and one great grandchild: one sister, Mrs. Dora Mahr of Hanover, Germany, and a number of nieces and nephews. His wife, one son and one daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Adams American Lutheran Church with Rev. J. Mark Irwin officiating. Mrs. R. C. Rawson was organist and Mrs. Melvin Hesser and Mrs. Clebert Armes sang. Pallbears were: Earl Krause, Walter Unvert, Heiko Cooper, Eldon Pittam, Lawrence Fritz and John Gronewold.
