Helen Steinshouer filed a suit for divorce against Burton Steinshouer August 20. ========================== The Belleville Telescope (Belleville, KS), Thursday, July 16, 1987; pg. 20 Helen Ann Griffin, daughter of David and Iola Vanous Stroh, was born May 28, 1949, at Topeka, and died July 7, 1987, at the South Plains Hospital in Amherst, Tex., at the age of 38 years, one month and 10 days. She received her education in the Chester public schools. She was united in marriage to Bertin Steinshouer and to this union two children were born, Debbie Sue and Don Lee. She was united in marriage to Reginald Griffin in 1973. She has lived in Texas since 1983. She was employed as a waitress. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Chester. She was preceded in death by her father, David Stroh, and one infant daughter, Debbie Sue. She is survived by her husband, Reginald Griffin, one son, Don Lee Steinshouer of Deshler; mother, Iola Carlson and step-father, Iver Carlson of Chester. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ on July 10 conducted by Rev. Wendell Mohler. Interment was in Chester Cemetery.
