Helen Tindall was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Westfield, the daughter of Adolph and Bessie (Kohout) Buryanek. She graduated from Westfield Consolidated School in 1943 and Western Union (Westmar) College. Read More	Helen Tindall Wednesday, October 01, 2003 Helen Tindall, 77, of Le Mars, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, in an automobile accident. Helen Tindall was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Westfield, the daughter of Adolph and Bessie (Kohout) Buryanek. She graduated from Westfield Consolidated School in 1943 and Western Union (Westmar) College. On Dec. 26, 1956, she married Adam Tindall in Westfield. Mrs. Tindall taught school in Ruble for six years. The couple lived on the Tindall family farm east of Akron until 1996 when they moved to Le Mars. Mrs. Tindall was a member of Adaville United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years. In her free time, she loved to cook and spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was always caring for other people and helping any way she could with a kind word or sending a card in the mail. You never went away from her home without a care package. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing hade her happier than spending time with her grandchildren. She had a deep love of God, which she passed on to her family. Survivors include three sons and three daughters and their families: son Bob Tindall and his wife, Barb, of Rapid City, S.D., and grandchildren Dustyn Larson, Brian Larson, David Larson, Michael Larson and Jessica Larson; daughter Sue Schultz and her husband, Mel, of Le Mars, and granddaughter Jennifer Schultz and her fiance, Jason Hetrick; son Mike Tindall and his fiancée, Synda Swift, of Omaha, Neb., and grandchildren Meghen Tindall, Madysen Tindall, Drew Swift, Linsey Swift and Jordan Swift; daughter Cindy Susemihl and her husband, Gary, of Le Mars, and grandchildren, Brett and his wife, Deb Susemihl, Joe and his wife, Amanda Susemihl and Matt Susemihl; daughter Laurie Hunt and her husband, Stuart, of Shawnee, Kan., and grandchildren Allison Hunt, Amy Hunt and Tim Hunt; son Dan Tindall and his wife, LeAnn, of Akron, and grandchildren Zach Tindall, Kayla Tindall and Danika Tindall; four sisters, Vera Diediker and her husband, Don, of Laurel, Neb., Millie Wetrosky and her husband, Clyde, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., Betty Philips and her husband, Bob, of Augusta, Wis., Mary Osborn and her husband, Roger of Kellogg and Marlis Asprey and her husband, Frank, of Sacramento, Calif.; three brothers, Leonard Buryanek and his wife, Tess, and Jim Buryanek and his wife, Delores, all of Westfield, and Frank Buryanek and his wife, Ann, of Hawarden; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tim; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Schultz. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Adaville United Methodist Church, rural Merrill, with the Rev. Benjamin Meeks of Adaville United Methodist Church and Pastor Fred Gums of Le Mars Bible Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Merrill. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Todd Philips, Steve Diediker, John Wetrosky, Russ Bollhoefer, Brett Susemihl and Matt Susemihl. (She was previously married to Lyle Sharp, and they divorced in 1953)
