Description	:	Helen Cordelia Goodrich, one of three children of Medlrum S. and Cordelia (Barr) Beach, was born in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, south of Nora, on June 12, 1897 and passed away in the Thayer County Memorial Hospital in Hebron, Nebraska, ending a complicated health problem, on April 17, 1975 at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 5 days. Mrs. Goodrich grew up and attended schools in the Nora vicinity. She also attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and the Colorado State College at Greeley, Colorado. Read More	Helen Cordelia Goodrich, one of three children of Medlrum S. and Cordelia (Barr) Beach, was born in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, south of Nora, on June 12, 1897 and passed away in the Thayer County Memorial Hospital in Hebron, Nebraska, ending a complicated health problem, on April 17, 1975 at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 5 days. Mrs. Goodrich grew up and attended schools in the Nora vicinity. She also attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and the Colorado State College at Greeley, Colorado. She taught in the Nora Public School until the time of her marriage. August 12, 1920, she was united in marriage to Don Hawley Goodrich at Akron, Colorado. Two children were born to this union, a son, Don of Hebron and a daughter, Cordelia (Lee) Fletcher, who preceded her mother in death on December 24, 1973. Helen was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 1958 and by two brothers. Her survivors, in addition to her son, Don, include nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Goodrich united with the Nelson United Methodist Church by transfer of membership in 1922. She maintained an active membership for 53 years and was a member of United Methodist Women. She held memberships in the Nelson Chapter, Order of Eastern Star; Nelson American Legion Auxiliary and the Bide-A-Wee Club of Nelson. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 20, 1975, at the United Methodist Church of Nelson with Pastor Clifford Weideman officiating. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson was in charge of the arrangements. Casketbearers were Guy Bruce, Ralph Aikin, Gordon Sheets, W.C. Hall, Allen Sole and O.P. Porter.
