She was born at Comers Rock, Va., to the late Walter B. Delp and Nettie Cornett Delp. She was the widow of D. L. Anderson. She attended First Baptist Church of Independence and retired from Grayson County Social Services. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va. with interment in Independence Cemetery, Independence, Va.; Rev. Matt Story and Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time for the service.
