Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of Walter DeVaughn of Wenona and the late Norma DeVaughn who died Jan. 23, 1992. She worked at Dresser Industries in Salisbury. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with the Rev. William Kniceley officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Wenona. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. or one-half hour before the funeral. Donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, Bateman and Wayne Streets, Salisbury, Md. 21801 or the American Cancer Society, 1138 Parsons Rd., Salisbury, Md. 21801.
