DeVaughn - Wenona - Norma Windsor DeVaughn, 71, of here, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1992 at the Peninsula General Hospital Medical Center in Salisbury of cardiopulmonary arrest. Born in Wenona, she was the daughter of the late Zachariah and Edith Northam Windsor. She was a housewife and a member of the Faith Independent Church in Wenona. She is survived by her husband, Walter DeVaughn; two sons, Kenneth Walter DeVaughn of Middle River, Md., and James E. DeVaughn of Salisbury; three daughters, Helen Townsend of Salisbury, Karen Bates of Princess Anne and Kathy Bennett of Sharptown; two sisters, Marie Evans and Gladys Barrett both of Baltimore; two brothers, John Windsor of Baltimore and Guy Windsor of Princess Anne; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Marguerite Pinto and Georgia Hoyt, and a brother, William Windsor, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Faith Independent Church in Wenona with the Revs. Linwood Benton, William Kniceley, H. Wallace Webster and John Scott officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Wenona. Friends may call the church tonight from 7 to 9 or Monday one hour before the service. Donations may be made to the Faith Independent Church, Wenona, Md. 21870. Arrangements are being handled by the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. (The Sunday Times, Sunday, 26 January 1992, p.
