She was born May 11, 1912, in Pawnee County, the dauther of George E, and Sarah Hogue Dipman. A lifetime Pawnee County resident, she was a farmer and rancher. She belonged to Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, Farm Bureau, the Farmers Union, the Ash Valley Grange, and was a member of EHU. On Feb. 19, 1935, she married George P. On Feb. 19, 1935, she married George P. Seeman Jr. He died May 21, 1970. Survivors include: two sons, George III and Winston C., both of Larned; a daughter, Karlene K. Meckfessel, Garfield, a brother, John Dipman, Larned; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Charley, Ralph and Raymond; and three sisters, Clara Byrum, Florence Smith, and Alma Bradford. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned, with the Rev. Jim Hawthorne presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Great Bend Humane Society or to he donor's choice, both in care of the mortuary.
