She was surrounded by her children and devoted husband of 67 years, George Dwight "Scotty" Scott. Helen Louise Rose Scott SCOTT Helen Louise Rose Scott of Wesley Glen Retirement Center, Columbus, passed peacefully Sunday afternoon, Mother's Day, May 14, 2006 at her residence. She was surrounded by her children and devoted husband of 67 years, George Dwight "Scotty" Scott. She was a proud mother of four children, Gene (Linda) Scott of Canal Winchester, Julia (Hal) Scott Hyrne of Upper Arlington, twins, Jane (Doug) Scott Krueger of Heath, and Jo (Michael) Scott Roney of Worthington. She was known as "Fanny" to her five grandchildren, Greg (Chris) Scott of Reynoldsburg, Leslie (Adam) Denlinger of Saline, MI, and Kelly, Kristin and Scott Krueger of Heath. She was known as "GG" to her four great-grandchildren, Avery and Megan Scott and Lauren and Drew Denlinger. Helen is also survived by three brothers, Tom (Mary Louise) Rose of Athens, Harry (Ruth) Rose of The Plains and Richard Rose of Buckeye Lake; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Rose of Athens and Hester Rose of Lancaster; and a brother-in-law, Howard Pond of Canal Winchester. Born in Canaan Township, Athens Co. she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Jane Sears Rose. A former resident of Athens, she had been deputy clerk for the Athens Co. Clerk of Courts. She and her husband had lived in Lancaster before moving to Columbus. A graduate of Rome-Canaan High School, Helen attended the Athens Church of Christ. She was a 50 year member and past Worthy Matron of New Marshfield Chapter 346 Order Eastern Star. The family warmly extends its sincerest appreciation to caregivers Lisa, Kathy and Danette along with the nursing and caregiving staff at Wesley Glen Assisted Living for their loving devotion shown to Helen. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Pauline "Enie" Pond, three brothers Karl, Marion and Ray Rose. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday 1 p.m. at JAGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Athens, by Willard Love, Minister, with private burial in Canaanville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday morning 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen's memory to The American Heart Association, P.O.
