Description	:	LANGHORST, HELEN M.—Helen M. Langhorst was the daughter of John S. Theimer and Hazel M. Stover Theimer. She was born July 7, 1915, at Lincoln and passed away March 18, 2000, at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 11 days. Helen was raised in Hastings. Helen worked for Fulton Furniture... Read More	LANGHORST, HELEN M.—Helen M. Langhorst was the daughter of John S. Theimer and Hazel M. Stover Theimer. She was born July 7, 1915, at Lincoln and passed away March 18, 2000, at the Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 11 days. Helen was raised in Hastings. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1933, and then attended Hastings College. She moved to Geneva in the late 1950’s. Helen was married to Henry J. Langhorst of Ohiowa on Sept. 9, 1961. Helen worked for Fulton Furniture as an office manager and bookkeeper until she retired. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the National Bowling Association, and also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel (Stover) Theimer, and her husband, Henry J. (Hank) Langhorst. She is survived by Brian, Karla, Jeff and Neal Krenke; Jesse B. Wright Jr., and Tina M. Peacock. Funeral services were conducted from the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Geneva, on Tuesday, March 21, 2000, with Rev. Michael Osberg officiating. Shaunna O’Brien accompanied Delwin Myers who sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and the congregation who sang “I Know that my Redeemer Lives”, “How Great Thou Art” and “What a Friend.” Casket bearers were Jesse Wright, John Wright, Rueben Krenke, Brian Krenke, Neal Krenke, Jeff Krenke, Vaughn Fulton and Si Lomax. Interment was in the Geneva Public Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal March 29th, 2000 page 7.
