She had recently undergone surgery and was making a good recovery when pneumonia developed. Read More	Mrs. Raymond Hall of Fairmont passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva Saturday, August 1, 1964, aged 46 years 7 months and 29 days. She had recently undergone surgery and was making a good recovery when pneumonia developed. Helen Marie Schumacher, daughter of Arthur and Minnie Shallenberg Schumacher, was born December 2, 1917, on the old Schumacher farm north and west of Grafton, where the Schumacher family homesteaded. She attended the Grafton school and graduated from high school with the class of 1935. June 14, 1937, she was married to Raymond M. Hall of Fairmont. They made their home in Fairmont a few years and then moved to Belleville, Kas. Later, they moved back to Fairmont to their present home. To this union were born six children, Barbara Rae Smith of Fairmont, Edward Maurice, serving in the Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., Richard Marion, serving with the Marines at San Diego, Cal., Patricia Jeanne, Kathy Elizabeth and Mary Helen, at home. Helen was baptized February 3, 1918, in the Lutheran church by Rev. W.F. Wietzke. She was confirmed June 17, 1934, by Rev. W.A. Krenke of Grafton. She transferred her membership to Grace Methodist church of Fairmont, March 30, 1958. She had served as a Sunday school teacher the past few years for the little folks' class of the church school and also had charge of the Sunday school Cradle Roll. She enjoyed this work very much as she always was happy being with little folks. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, two sons, four daughters, four grandchildren; a son-in-law, Richard Smith; her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Everts of Grafton and Wilma Struppa of Copiaque, Long Island, N.Y.; two brothers, Arthur Jr. and Gary Earl of Geneva; nieces, nephews, auts, uncles, cousins and many friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, at Grace Methodist church in Fairmont, Rev. Leonard Hartwig officiating. Mrs. Rex Plock sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "in the Garden," accompanied by Mrs. Jerry Galusha. Pallbearers were Richard C. Dawes, Lewis Harling, Kenneth Moore, Paul Rasmussen, Francis Rose and Francis Schepers.
