Description	:	AFTON - Helen Virginia "Ma" Falls, 76, of Rt. 2 Box 548, a very special wife and mother, passed away at 2:30 Saturday afternoon (May 28, 1994) at her residence. She was born March 21, 1918, at Beech Grove, a daughter of the late Charles and Mellisse (Truslow) Fitzgerald. She was a lifetime member of Beech Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Thomas Mawyer, in 1961, and a sister, Swannie Wiggins, on May 24 of this year. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Read More	AFTON - Helen Virginia "Ma" Falls, 76, of Rt. 2 Box 548, a very special wife and mother, passed away at 2:30 Saturday afternoon (May 28, 1994) at her residence. She was born March 21, 1918, at Beech Grove, a daughter of the late Charles and Mellisse (Truslow) Fitzgerald. She was a lifetime member of Beech Grove Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Thomas Mawyer, in 1961, and a sister, Swannie Wiggins, on May 24 of this year. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Falls; three daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Doug Thompson of Nellysford, Joyce and John Huffman of Afton, and Dot and Frank Armentrout, also of Afton; a stepson, John Harvey Falls of Afton; 10 grandchildren, two step-granddaughters and 15 great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beechgrove Christian Church by the Rev. T. Ray Coffey. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Greg Armentrout, Jeff Armentrout, Tommy Thompson, Page Thompson, Randall Thompson, Mike Huffman, Rusty Huffman and Calvin Truslow. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Harris, Mark Brownlee, Earl Thompson, Carl McGann, Justin Carter, Walter Gray, Glen Page, H.T. Page, Bill Lane, Roger Cash, Guy Duncan, Guy Boyd and a very special friend and physician, Dr. Robert Raynor. Additional honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
