Description	:	Helen Virginia Stenersen went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2015. Helen was born May 4, 1932, to Henry and Molly Yager. She grew up with her eight brothers and sisters in Silesia, where she attended grade school in a one-room schoolhouse and later graduated from Laurel High School. She was married to Robert Perkins in 1953, until he passed away in 1964. Together they had three children. She later married Lawrence Stenersen in 1967, until his passing in 2005. Read More	Helen Virginia Stenersen went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 11, 2015. Helen was born May 4, 1932, to Henry and Molly Yager. She grew up with her eight brothers and sisters in Silesia, where she attended grade school in a one-room schoolhouse and later graduated from Laurel High School. She was married to Robert Perkins in 1953, until he passed away in 1964. Together they had three children. She later married Lawrence Stenersen in 1967, until his passing in 2005. Helen loved flower gardens, family, friends and especially, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her parents, Henry and Molly Yager, preceded her in death; as well as her brothers Clarence Yager and Al Yager; and sisters Irene Hein, Elsie Marks, Dorie Lyons and Betty Lix. Can you imagine that reunion! She is survived by her sister Joyce Owen and her brother Walt (Georgia) Yager; and by her three children, Jody (Terrence) Fritzler, Robert (Katy) Perkins, Patricia (Dennis) Tryan; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; along with many friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., December 18 at Smith Downtown Chapel, 925 S. 27th St. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., December 17.
