II (1910), p. 576: "Helen Weaver Munnell, eldest of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Munnell, was born August 16, 1895. She was graduated from the Canonsburg high school and had six years of musical study in the Pittsburgh Musical Institute becoming a proficient musician. In 1920 she was married to W. L. Extracted from obituary in The Canon (Canonsburg, Pa.) 24 Jul 1989. Helen M. Jenkins, 93, of Lone Pine, formerly of Canonsburg, died Sunday, July 16, 1989, in Washington Hospital. She was born August 16, 1895, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Wilber and Kate McNutt Munnell. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church and a graduate of the Pittsburgh Music Institute. She had taught private piano and organ lessons in her home and had been an organist for the former First Presbyterian Church in Canonsburg. In 1919 [1920], she married William Lewis Jenkins, who died in June of 1972. Surviving are one son, Robert C. Jenkins of Houston and four grandchildren...deceased are two sons, William L. Jenkins and James M. Jenkins; two brothers, James W. Munnell and Paul Munnell, who died in infancy; and one sister, Catherine Croker. Burial was in Oak Spring Cemetery.
