Description	:	Helena C. Nieuwenhuisen immigrated to Pella, Iowa, 1855, with her sister, Anna. She married Jan Heukelman Wolters July 23, 1855. They had six children (see J.H. Wolters bio). Her obituary in the Downs Times, March 5, 1903, says, "Mrs. Wolters was a very refined and highly educated woman, being able to speak, read, and write four languages, and was an artist of no little ability. In her younger days she possessed a good voice and was educated in intrumental as well as vocal music....A sister in Pella and a brother in Brussels, Belgium, are the only... Read More	Helena C.
