She was baptized and confirmed in St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, where she taught Sunday School and played the organ for 53 years. Read More	Henrietta Eileen DeWall – age 95, of Pocahontas, passed away Monday, July 04, 2016, at the Pocahontas Manor in Pocahontas, Iowa. Henrietta Eileen Kramer was born April 20, 1921 in Lincoln Township, Palmer, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Josie (Aden) Kramer and educated in the area rural school. She was baptized and confirmed in St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, where she taught Sunday School and played the organ for 53 years. She was a member of Mary Circle and volunteered at the Senior Living Center and manor. In 1934 she moved to Pocahontas with her father and worked for Dr. Gower and Dr. Rhodes. On September 29, 1946 she married Emmet DeWall at Pocahontas and to this union three sons and one daughter were born. Survivors include sons Brian (Donna) of Spirit Lake, Steven (MaryBeth) of Pocahontas and daughter, Rachel (Andy) Miller of Rockwell City; 7 grandchildren, Abbey DeWall, Brad(Jessica) DeWall, Russ DeWall, Matthew (Katie) Miller, Kelly (Tommy) Vernon, Brent (Megan) Miller, and Lee Miller; and three great-grandchildren. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emmet, who passed away on September 28, 2009, son, Allen; sisters Minnie Botine, Ann Botine; and brothers John and Charles Kramer.
