HENRIETTA ESTHER ROHLMEIER Henrietta Esther Rohlmeier was born July 28, 1940, near DuBois. She received the Holy Sacrament of baptism Sept. 22 in the same year at Friedens Evangelical church south of DuBois. Mrs. John Bohm and Mrs. Carl Koemer were sponsors. For a year and five months she had been ailing. During her prolonged illness she displayed a pleasantness which was remarkable. Her smiles and singing or humming of Sunday school hymns and other songs brought sunshine into her environment. It made an impression upon her loved ones as well as relatives and friends. About ten days ago she became suddenly worse, and although everything was done for her welfare, she met her untimely death Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the age of 4 years, 3 months and 3 days. She leaves to mourn, her parents, Nr. and Mrs. Henry Rohlmeier, three brothers, Eugene, Howard and Lyle;her grandparents, Carl Kroemer,Sr., of Bern; other relatives and friends. Let us remember her as she used to smile and sing a hymn in her incomparable way. May her influence be felt for years to come. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Friedens Evangelical church with Rev. A. L. Schieler in charge, and burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.
