Description	:	Henry was the son of Asher Alt and Emily (Hedrick) Alt. In 1894 he married Mary Elizabeth Kimble daughter of William Welsey Kimble and Mary Frances McDonald. children; Sadie, Theodore, Raphael, Heber, Vernon, Genevera,and Norma. Henry was the author of the book entitled"Genealogies of the Kimble and Alt Families from the time of the first settler in Hardy county, VA., to the fifth generation following and other miscellaneous matters". A dedication in the front of his book reads: Decicated to my father Asher Alt and to my mother Emily Jane (Hedrick) Alt, whose early demise deprived me of a fathers...
