McCeney, 64, long-time Burnt Mills resident, who was associated with a number of banks here, died yesterday of a lung ailment in Miami, Fla. Ill health forced Mr. McCeney to retire last June from the real estate department of the Silver Spring branch of the Suburban Trust Co. He moved to Florida in September. Mr. McCeney formerly was associated with the old American National, Standard National and District National Banks here. From 1925 to 1928 he was business manager of the Maryland News, Silver Spring, Md. Mr. McCeney joined the Silver Spring National Bank in 1928. It later was the Suburban National Bank and became the Suburban Trust Co. recently. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Day McCeney, and a daughter, Margaret Ann, both of Miami; two sons, Henry C., jr., of Hyattsville, Md., and Thomas S. of Denver, Colo., and two brothers, Samuel C. of 9808 Colesville road, Silver Spring, and George W. of Burnt Mills. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Warner E. Pumphrey funeral home, 8434 Georgia avenue, Silver Spring. Burial will be at St. Mark's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Fairland, Md.
