Read More	HARRY POLEYETTE DIED SUDDENLY Funeral Services Held Last Sunday Afternoon Mr. Harry E. Poleyette, well known and highly esteemed Crisfield business man was found dead in the rear of his home on Main street Friday morning of last week. He had suffered a heart attack the previous day. His body was found at about 7.00 a.m. and apparently he had been dead about two hours. He was born in Crisfield in 1877 [sic], the son of the late Nelson and Clara Green Poleyett and was 62 years of age. His entire life had been spent in and around this city. In 1905 he established a cleaning and pressing business here, and had built the business up to one of the largest of its kind in the community. A great lover of the water and of fishing, several years ago, he purchased a fine power boat, on which he made frequent trips during the summer months, frequently taking a number of friends with him to enjoy sailing on the Sounds and Bay and the fine fishing those waters afforded. A very likable man, he had made many warm friends during his lifetime who received news of his death with sincere sorrow. For several years he had been in good health, but it was not known that his condition was serious, and his sudden death was a shock to the entire community. Funeral services were held from his home on Main street Sunday afternoon at 2.00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.L. Bennett, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. Interment was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Conner of Baltimore, and a sister, Mrs. Luther Baker of Kings Mountain, N.C., and several cousins.
