The cause of death was given as active colitis. Mrs. Michaels was the daughter of John H. and Margaret Ward of Crisfield. She was twice married, her second husband, Wilbur Michael, dying about two years ago. She leaves a host of friends in Crisfield to mourn her loss. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Ward, one daughter, Margaret Polyette, of Baltimore and one brother, Wilmer Ward, of Crisfield. Funeral services will be held from the home of her parents on Somerset Avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Ralph L. Minker, pastor of Immanuel M.E. Church. Interment will be in Crisfield cemetery.
